HISTORY & HERITAGE

From the Kingdom of Mouzilo (19 May 2012) to the restoration of the name Rhōmanía on 29 May 2020. The Basileia claims continuity with the Eastern Roman imperial tradition, not a novelty state.

FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Correspondence is handled by the Office of the Megas Logothetes. The Basileia conducts a reserved, clear-cut diplomatic policy under strict criteria.

CULTURE

THE BASILEIA

INSTITUTIONS ORDERED FOR SUBJECTS

Rhōmanía is the Basileia of the Romans: a self-administered constitutional monarchy whose purpose is the continuation of the Eastern Roman imperial tradition in law, liturgy, and public form. The Crown does not sell a theme and does not stage a court of fictional persons. It administers the properties and offices that belong to it.
